Glucose Targets are the low and high levels of the range you are aiming for throughout the day. These settings are used in the app to indicate when glucose values are in your target range.

Note:  Target range values must be set within alert range values. Do not change your glucose alert levels without consulting with your health care professional.

No.  If the algorithm determines 2 calibrations/day are needed to maintain the most accurate readings possible, the user will be notified.  The best way for a user to support system accuracy is to calibrate as prompted and to always calibrate the system using only a fingerstick blood sample. DO NOT calibrate at times when glucose may be rapidly changing (e.g., after meals, after dosing insulin). DO NOT use a blood glucose reading from an alternative site (such as forearm or palm) to calibrate the system.

The Eversense NOW App will periodically check to confirm your log in information has not been changed via your Eversense DMS account.

If you change your Eversense account password from your DMS log in screen or the DMS Change Password page, you must log out of the Eversense NOW App and log back in using the new password. If the passwords do not match functionality of the Eversense NOW app will be unavailable.

You will receive on-body vibe alerts when you have reached the glucose alert levels you have set.
You will also see the alert or notification on the Eversense® App.

The Eversense E3 CGM System uses a calibration algorithm that continuously assesses changes in the sensor’s glucose sensitivity.  This sensitivity varies by individual, and from day to day. The need for 1 or 2 calibrations/day is determined by the system based on this continuous assessment, and there is no specific action a user can take to change the frequency of calibrations.

The Eversense® E3 Smart Transmitter sends a glucose reading to the App every 5 minutes.

The Eversense® E3 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is indicated for continually measuring glucose levels for up to 180 days in persons with diabetes age 18 and older. The system is indicated for use to replace fingerstick blood glucose (BG) measurements for diabetes treatment decisions. Fingerstick BG measurements are still required for calibration primarily one time a day after day 21, and when symptoms do not match CGM information or when taking medications of the tetracycline class. The sensor insertion and removal procedures are performed by a health care provider. The Eversense E3 CGM System is a prescription device; patients should talk to their health care provider to learn more.

The Eversense® 365 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is indicated for continually measuring glucose levels for up to one year in people (18 years and older) with diabetes. The system is indicated for use to replace fingerstick blood glucose (BG) measurements for diabetes treatment decisions. Fingerstick BG measurements are required for calibration one time a week after day 13, and when symptoms do not match CGM information or when taking medications of the tetracycline class. The sensor insertion and removal procedures are performed by a health care provider. The Eversense 365 CGM System is a prescription device; patients should talk to their health care provider to learn more.
